Welcome, Soul Sister 🤍

If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’ve lived a little.

You’ve been hurt, misunderstood, betrayed, or stretched in ways you never asked for. You love God—and you’re still healing. Still unlearning. Still figuring out what wholeness looks like now.

This is a place for truth-telling and tenderness.

A place where faith and healing meet—without judgment, without pretending, and without pressure to be “over it.”

At Seasoned Soul Sister’s Place, we talk about the real things:

the scars we carry, the lessons they taught us, and the God who never left us while we were breaking. We believe healing is not rushed, forgiveness is a journey, and strength doesn’t always look loud.

You don’t have to explain yourself here.

You don’t have to be perfect.

You don’t have to have the right words.

Come as you are. Sit for a while. Read slowly. Breathe deeply.

This is a sisterhood rooted in Christ, guided by grace, and committed to becoming whole—together.

You’re safe here. And you’re not alone.

Day 2 – Beauty From Ashes

Scripture: “To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” — Isaiah 61:3

Reflection:

Life has left ashes—dreams burned out, love gone cold, opportunities missed. But ashes aren’t the end. They’re the soil where God plants beauty. You may not see it yet, but His promise is clear: joy is coming, and your heaviness won’t last forever.

Prayer:

God, trade my heaviness for joy. Help me believe beauty is still possible for me. Amen.

Journal Prompt:

What “ashes” in my life can I give to God today?

Affirmation:

“My mourning is not forever—joy is on its way.”
